Episode 2polinette1 (20.08.2007 à 16:18)
Salut,
voici le résumé de second épisode, dsl il est en Anglais ....
-A 16 year old is brought in who is seriously injured in an auto accident. A pregnant woman who is not his mother is with him when he comes in.
-Sam, Chuny, and Dawn are speed dating. Sam winds up with Officer Litchman (who first appears in 13.19) who Chuny and Dawn have set her up with. Sam is apparently a brunette now.
-Abby is trying to get a passport, presumably to go to Croatia.
-There appears to be a little tension between Morris and Hope during a trauma.
-Moretti says that physicals will now be done on all patients. He has apparently made quite a few changes in the ER, especially protocols.
-Crenshaw embarrasses Neela by asking her personal questions while she is recovering from her injuries.
-Moretti has shipped Gates off to the CCU.
The teaser has Neela in her hospital bed, Abby with her.
Abby mentions a passport and an inability to get one on short notice before changing the subject back to Neela. Neela's got lunch and a tv show addiction that seems to be a do it yourself type program. Tells Abby that Lucien wants her to stay home for a week and rest before coming back to work (not sure how much time has passed between the last episode and this one). Abby thinks this is a good thing, Neela doesn't know what to do for a week straight with no working.
End of teaser.
Abby has a patient in triage who is homeless, shoeless and doesn't like cheese.
Gates has been reassigned to the ICU and is called the "er reject" his new boss is not impressed with him.
some random patients of the week are a boy who was bitten by a gerbil named Killer, a woman who just wants to breathe the air at County and a guy in sunglasses sleeping in chairs, he may be dead.
Sam is a brunette.
GSW comes in, Abby and Dubenko treat the guy. He refuses surgery as there is a question of his involvement in a robbery. Cops want the bullet as evidence so they get a court order to force the surgery. Abby says no way they can't do that, Dubenko says in not so many words that they can. He agrees to get the OR ready though he tells Abby he doesn't necessarily have to like it even if it is ultimately the best thing for the patient's health. Abby's not pleased.
Neela is in the process of being discharged and DUbenko & Crenshaw are with her, giving her the standard post op patient run down. Neela is embarrassed by Crenshaw's questions and his statement "No going home until Neela makes a poo poo." Dubenko tells Crenshaw to leave Neela be. Dubenko lags behind when they are paged to the ER to share a few words with Neela. The notes say they exchange warm smiles with each other.
Pratt and Betina are still together (she's the radiology chick we saw tonight)
Morris and Hope are around, have a trauma together.
Sam tries speed dating at Ikes. Chuny and Dawn are up to something and they set her up with Litchman, the cop from tonight's episode. Speed dating is full of random weirdos. Sam and the cop bale.
In this episode, Neela is about to be discharged from the hospital and is visited by Abby. Neela says Dubenko (she calls him Lucien) wants her to take a week off before coming back to work, but Neela doesn’t want to sit home. Abby tells her to relax and teases her about a TV addiction. During their conversation, Abby says that with all the new travel rules, even an expedited passport takes about four weeks to get. Later, Crenshaw doesn’t want to discharge Neela until she makes a “poo poo” to resolve her gas issue. Neela is mortifed. Dubenko sends him off to the ER and shares a warm smile with Neela.
∙ Seems that Pratt is cleaning out Ray's locker. He mentions to Morris that he is thinking about going down to Baton Rouge to visit Ray. Morris says that all three of them can go (seems that he means Pratt Morris and Hope)
∙ Hope wants to do some sort of volunteer work that will require her to learn Spanish. It's a six month long endeavor and Morris is afraid he's going to miss her and that she'll meet someone while gone. Pratt tells him to trust Hope. Pratt's girlfriend likes that about Pratt. The volunteer work is what Hope and Morris seem tense about in the trauma they run.
∙ The trauma is a 25 year old woman (pregnant) and a 16 year old boy (father of the child) they were in an MVA, the boy driving. He codes and his mother wants the 25 year old in jail for molesting her son.
∙Abby and Moretti are not gelling well. He's not happy when Abby leaves triage (or the waiting area as he calls it) to become involved in a trauma. She refers to being out of her cage.
∙ Abby's trauma is the previously mentioned GSW. The case is complicated as far as the law goes. Did the patient commit a crime or is he just guilty of being int he wrong place at the wrong time? He needs surgery or faces the risk of spending his life in a wheel chair. He doesn't want the surgery. Cops get a court order. Dubenko complies with the order. Abby is not happy about it. The patient's wife tells Abby what really happened and Abby doesn't really want to hear it at first. After the surgery, Abby's chilly to Dubenko though Dubenko eventually fesses up to the evidence (the removed bullet) somehow getting lost in the OR and the cops can't find it. "Weird, right?" He says about the vanishing bullet.
Voilà c' est tout ce que j' ai trouvé ,enkore désolé que ce soit en Anglais.
